We start with the problem, not the stack.

Most engagements start the same way — someone describes a platform they think they need. We spend the first weeks working out what is actually slowing the organization down: the approval that takes nine days, the two systems that don’t talk, the report that three people rebuild by hand every Monday.

The technology decisions come after that, and they stay deliberately boring. Proven tools, clear architecture, code the next engineer can read. Novelty is a cost, and it isn’t ours to pass on.

A congregation's entire devotional life in one offline-first app.

Sermons, hymnal, Bible and study material in a single place, built to work with no signal at all — the hymnal and three Bible translations ship inside the app, and downloaded sermons play back from local storage. Sunset times are calculated on-device from GPS to drive the Sabbath countdown and Friday reminder. One Angular codebase compiles to Android, iOS and an installable web app.

05Process

The same six steps, every time.

Not because process is interesting, but because skipping a step is the most reliable way to find out something important in month five.

    Discover

    Two to three weeks inside the actual workflow — the people doing it, the systems behind it and the points where it breaks. Nothing is designed yet.

  2. 02

    Architect

    A written technical plan: system design, data model, integration surface, delivery sequence, and the trade-off behind each decision so it can be argued with.

  3. 03

    Build

    Short iterations against a working environment. You see the real thing early and often, which is the only reliable way to catch a wrong assumption.

  4. 04

    Integrate

    Wiring into what you already run — payments, ERP, identity, legacy databases — including the edge cases nobody mentions until they fail at month-end.

  5. 05

    Deploy

    Staged rollout with monitoring, runbooks and a handover written for your team rather than for the file.

  6. 06

    Operate

    Ongoing support and iteration. Software that isn't maintained quietly stops being an asset.
